The Partnership for Extraordinary Minds will present Social Thinking at Home and School on January 16 from 7 to 9 pm.
Speech therapists Susan Abrams and Randi Rosenblatt will discuss social thinking, an approach that teaches the "why" as well as the "how" of social interaction so individuals can respond dynamically to a variety of interactions throughout the day. Attendees will learn about this approach as well as strategies to help their children navigate the social world.
The workshop will take place at Rockville Memorial Library (21 Maryland Avenue) in Rockville. The event is free for xMinds members and $15 for nonmembers.
