Dancers will spend the day (M-F, 9 am to 3 pm) learning basic ballet technique through a variety of games and dances. Every Friday ends with a performance showcasing all that was learned throughout the week.
ME Through Motion accepts all individuals, regardless of cognitive or physical ability. Pre-requisites are imitation skills and ability to follow simple one-step directions.
The program is taught by a special education teacher with a ballet background. No dance experience is necessary.
Week-long session run from July 1 August 2 and cost $300/week (with the exception of the first week, which is only four days and costs $240).
