M&L Special Needs Planning Winter/Spring 2013 Workshops

M&L Special Needs Planning will host several workshops this winter and spring. You can find detailed information about each workshop online on their website.  You MUST RSVP if you plan on attending any of these workshops.

February 5, 7-8:30 pm: Roadmap for Transitioning Planning and a Discussion of Post Secondary OptionsThis workshop is an overview so families can understand what transitioning planning is, what the terms mean, and examples of post-secondary options. The workshop will take place at the Treatment and Learning Center (2092 Gaither Road, Suite 100) in Rockville. Register online.

February 26, 7-8:30 pm: Navigating the World of the Family with Special Needs This workshop will take place at the Treatment and Learning Center (2092 Gaither Road, Suite 100) in Rockville. Register online.

March 6, 7-8:30 pm: Understanding SSI/Medicaid and SSDI/MedicareThis complicated subject is broken down and discussed slowly so attendees can understand the basics and know where to turn in applying. The workshop will take place at DC Health Center Advocates for Justice and Education (1012 Pennsylvania Ave., SE) in DC. Register online.

April 2, 7-8:30 pm: Understanding SSI/Medicaid and SSDI/MedicareThis complicated subject is broken down and discussed slowly so attendees can understand the basics and know where to turn in applying.
