Alvord, Baker & Associates, along with the Weinfeld Education Group, will present a lecture by Mary Alvord about "Understanding Cognitive Behavior Therapy for the Child/Teen with Anxiety, Depression, and/or ADHD" on November 29 from 7:30 to 9 pm.
Alvord will discuss CBT, which is a goal-oriented psychotherapy treatment that takes a hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving and behavior change. Emphasis will be on CBT strategies that parents can utilize with their children.
The cost for the lecture is $25 through November 15, after which it will be $35. If tickets are available at the door, the cost will be $40. Register online.
