Wrightslaw Conference in Silver Spring

Wrightslaw will hold a Special Education Law and Advocacy Conference in Silver Spring on October 18 from 9 am to 4:30 pm.

Wrightslaw conferences are intended for parents, educators, healthcare providers, advocates, and attorneys who represent children with disabilities regarding special education. The focus is on special education law, rights, and responsibilities; tests and measurements to measure progress and regression; SMART IEPs; introduction to tactics and strategy for effective advocacy.

The registration deadline is October 11. Register online.  The cost for parents is $100 each and professionals cost $150. Couples can attend for $150, but will share one set of materials. Materials include three books by Wrightslaw.
