The Learning Disabilities Association of Montgomery County will present an interactive workshop called Demystifying Testing, about understanding and making use of neuropsychological testing, on November 17 from 2-5 pm.
This workshop will guide participants through the process of obtaining a neuropsychological assessment and using the results to their full advantage. Participants are encouraged to bring their questions regarding their child's or student's academic performance, classroom behavior, or any challenge with a particular aspect of learning for a lively discussion and exploration of problem solving strategies. This workshop will also address issues related to transitioning to college or life after high school.
This program is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are requested, as space is limited. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 301-933-1076 to RSVP.
The workshop will take place at the Rockville Memorial Library meeting room (21 Maryland Avenue) in Rockville.
