The Stonegate PTA will present a lecture on Self-Advocacy Skills on April 14 from 7 to 9 p.m.Barbara Siegal of the GT/LD Network and Joan Wittan, an independent education consultant, will present to students and parents. They will discuss what students with learning differences in grades 5 through 12 need to know to advocate for themselves in order to be successful.
The presentation will take place in the all-purpose room of Stonegate Elementary School (14811 Notley Road) in Silver Spring.
