Webinar: Legal Requirements for Appropriate Transition Planning

The Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA) will present a webinar on transition planning on September 23 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Eastern time.

Catherine Merino Reisman and Josh Kershenbaum will present "Legal Requirements for Appropriate Transition Planning." This session will provide an overview of IDEA's transition requirements and the difference between "outcome-oriented" and "results-oriented" processes. Using case studies, they will also cover how to develop appropriate transition content for the IEP.
