The Barstow Acres Children's Center is holding its fourth annual Parent Empowerment Conference this December. (Click this link for a PDF of the conference brochure.)The Maryland conference, aimed at parents, teachers, and professionals, will feature sessions on general parenting as well as autism-related topics. CEUs are available for the conference, which costs $35/person, $60/couple, or $50/professional for each day of the conference.
The registration form is available online. The conference takes place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both December 11th and 12th. It will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church (3800 Old Town Road) in Huntington, Maryland.
