Workshops: Speaking Up for Your Children

MCPS' Parent Academy will present workshops titled "Can We Talk? Speaking Up for Your Children to Help Them Succeed," in both English and Spanish.

Presented in collaboration with members of the Parent Advisory Council, these workshops will provide parents with practical tips to plan for meetings and conversations with school staff and to advocate for their children.

The English workshop will take place on November 4 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville (250 Richard Montgomery Drive).

The Spanish version will take place on November 5 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Wheaton High School in Silver Spring (12601 Dalewood Drive).
