The Least Restrictive Environment Access Group (LREA) of Montgomery County will be holding a presentation this fall on Universal Design for Learning—Access to the Curriculum for All Students.The workshop is intended for general educators, special educators, administrators, and parents who are interested in learning about the universal design for learning, which is an educational framework based on the principal that curricular goals, instructional materials, teaching methods, and assessments should be designed to provide meaningful access to the curriculum by the widest range of learners.
The workshop will be held October 28, from 7-9 p.m. at The Arc of Montgomery County (11600 Nebel Street in Rockville).
