Various special education advocacy groups will present information at the MCCPTA Special Education Committee Annual Kickoff Meeting on October 5.The meeting, which begins at 7:30 p.m., will be attended by Gwendolyn Mason and Judy Pattik, Directors for Special Education for MCPS.
Presenters will speak about how advocates from around the county provide support for various special needs populations.
The event will take place in the auditorium of the Carver Educational Services Center (850 Hungerford Drive in Rockville).
